Sailor Manyo Yu 2ml sample
Yu, meaning “sunset”, is a brick red fountain pen ink inspired by the poem: “As evening falls, I gaze at the clouds, lost in contemplation. Thinking of my lover, who is like the unreachable sky, far beyond my reach.”
Since 1911, Sailor has carried Japan’s traditional craftsmanship into writing. Its Manyo ink line, first released in 2019, takes its theme from the Manyoshu, Japan’s oldest anthology of poetry, and has grown across four editions of colours and a 5th anniversary set. This anniversary release, Manyo Ink in Love, draws on poems about unrequited love.
