Takenoko (Manyo) - 2ml

Sailor Manyo Takenoko 2ml sample

Takenoko is a muted mustard yellow fountain pen ink and a limited edition colour in the fourth series. Bamboo shoots can be eaten, and once they grow large enough to become bamboo, the trunk can be cut and used as a vessel.

Since 1911, Sailor has carried Japan’s traditional craftsmanship into writing. Its Manyo ink line, first released in 2019, takes its theme from the Manyoshu, Japan’s oldest anthology of poetry, and has grown across four editions of colours. Its fourth release turns to food.
