Sumomo (Manyo) - 2ml

Sailor Manyo Sumomo 2ml sample

Sumomo is a dusty pink-red fountain pen ink. The sumomo flower blooms before the cherry blossom, so it seems to have been an early sign of spring for the people of the Manyo era.

Since 1911, Sailor has carried Japan’s traditional craftsmanship into writing. Its Manyo ink line, first released in 2019, takes its theme from the Manyoshu, Japan’s oldest anthology of poetry, and has grown across four editions of colours. Its fourth release turns to food.
