Nobiru is a pale earth green fountain pen ink and a limited edition colour in the fourth series. The nobiru plant has a garlic aroma and a leek-like taste, and was believed to have vital and rejuvenating powers.

Since 1911, Sailor has carried Japan’s traditional craftsmanship into writing. Its Manyo ink line, first released in 2019, takes its theme from the Manyoshu, Japan’s oldest anthology of poetry, and has grown across four editions of colours. Its fourth release turns to food.
