Established in 1902, Kuretake came into existence during the height of Art Nouveau, an aesthetic movement that began in Europe and swept across the world. This palette pays homage to the irresistible allure of color lithography - the beloved medium of art for the masses.
Queen Victoria's dress at the Paris World's Fair made Mauve hugely popular in the era of Art Nouveau. Many Art Nouveau posters depict women in mauve dresses. Developed by William Perkin, this color was the world's first chemical dye.
You can enjoy these inks with fountain pens, glass pens, dip pens, brush pens, kuretake karappo-pen, or so on.
Each Kuretake 'Art Nouveau' ink comes in a square glass bottle of 20 ml.
