High in Taiwan’s Central Mountain Range lie two sacred alpine lakes: Dalupalringi (Big Ghost Lake) and Taidrengere (Small Ghost Lake). Together known as Shuang-guei Lake or Two Ghost Lake, they hold deep spiritual significance for the Rukai people, who believe these waters are home to ancestral spirits.
