Alexandrite is a shimmer calligraphy ink with pearl pigments mixed in that causes it to change colour when it hits natural light (going from green-blue to purple-red). The colour reverts back when taken indoors with the change being semi-permanent.
We do not recommend that you use this in fountain pens.
