Overview
The Ancient Song line of inks have been given names that pay tribute to poems and poets originating from different dynasties a long time ago.
The first of a two-part work by Cao Yu during the Three Kingdom period, the Two Songs of Yan Ge have an important position in the history of seven-character poetry development during the Han Dynasty.
“Yan” here refers to a northern part of Western Zhou Dynasty and was written to convey a sense of longing between two persons.
